League of Legends - Worlds Advertising Concept Designs

Crafting unique, visually-appealing advertising campaigns for League of Legends Worlds’ 2024 and 2025 partnerships.

Project Overview

Riot Games is the developer of League of Legends, VALORANT, Teamfight Tactics, Legends of Runeterra, and Wild Rift. They encompass a global entertainment powerhouse seeing over 200 million monthly active users across all their games. Worlds is the premiere esports event for League of Legends, a 5v5 MOBA strategy game first released in 2009. Since then, Worlds sees over 135 million total hours watched across 6.5 million users, with each match averaging 1.5 million in viewership.

This project oversees development for Worlds 2024 and 2025, first as exploratory brand identity in 2024 and expanded by 2025 into 15+ unique advertising concepts across 7 major brands. This project covers campaign management for advertising partnerships, where all media is interconnected into the gaming and esports aesthetic. Brands across mixed media, entertainment, transportation, telecommunications, and cloud computing come together to tell a story of triumph as 10 players take the stage to write their names in history.

Brands featured include collaboration work done with Riot Games, Mercedes-Benz, Red Bull, Opera, Secret Lab, Oppo, and Verizon.
